Burnout isn't always easy to recognise. It can show up in many different ways and often overlaps with stress and anxiety.
Start with a simple Body Check to better understand what your body may be telling you. From there, we'll explore whether burnout could be part of the picture.
You dread Monday, or feel tense before opening your laptop
You’re functioning, but running on empty
You feel cynical, detached, or unlike yourself
You struggle to recover, even after time off
Small demands now feel unusually heavy
Why a Body Check Helps
Burnout can make it hard to think clearly.
You may be trying to work everything out in your head while your body is showing signs of overload that need addressing first: tension, exhaustion, shallow breathing, poor sleep, heaviness, agitation or numbness.
A body check allows you to pause, notice what’s happening, and calm things enough to begin making sense of what to do next. It's a gentle insurance against knee-jerk reactions. First, regulate the body, then think more clearly, then make any decisions you need to make.
A simple guided tool to help you notice where burnout may be showing up in your body and work life. This isn’t a diagnosis. It’s a starting point for noticing what may be going on.
You’ll receive 6 tools over about a month, one email a week after the first few days. Unsubscribe anytime.
