Maybe You're Here Because
You're questioning whether your current work is still right for you. You know something needs to change, but you're struggling to work out what that change should be.
  • Things have become increasingly difficult at work and, while you have a sense of what's wrong, you can't get clear in your own head about what you should actually do about it.
  • You've tried making your current job work, but either you're not being heard and nothing changes, or the shift you really need is beyond your control.
  • You can imagine leaving — perhaps you've even thought seriously about it — but you have no clear idea what you'd want to move towards, and starting again feels like a big leap.
  • You have a few ideas about what could come next, but your inner critic quickly comes up with a dozen reasons why you shouldn't, and you find yourself going round in circles.
The Answer isn't Always a New Career
When you're unhappy with your work, it's tempting to jump straight to the question: “What should I do instead?

But that's often the wrong place to start.

Before deciding to quit your job, or embark on a new career, it helps to understand what's really driving the need for change. Is it the work itself? The environment? The way you're working? Or have your priorities, interests, and ambitions changed?

Once you understand what's no longer fitting, you can start exploring what might.

That's where coaching can help.
A common coaching journey might look something like this…
In our initial conversation, you'll tell me what's happening for you at work, what you've been thinking about, and what you've already tried. You'll leave with one step you can take towards getting some movement.

If you decide coaching is for you, we'll start by unpacking your situation properly: what's no longer working, what's changed for you, and what you really want to be different.

From there, we'll explore what you might want instead. What would you like your working life to look and feel like? What matters to you now? What would make work feel more worthwhile?

We'll open up the possibilities — including some you may not have considered seriously before — and then start working out which ones are worth exploring further.

You might investigate a completely new direction. You might discover that a different role or working environment would make a bigger difference than you thought. Or you might decide that what you really need is to change how you're working where you are.

We'll take those possibilities one at a time, testing them through small, practical steps rather than expecting you to make one huge decision.
